Graham joined Torquil Clark almost ten years ago, having previously worked in the civil service for several years. He successfully completed our training programme to qualify as an adviser over six years ago. He has since progressed to become one of our Principal Consultants by gaining qualifications far in advance of the basic financial services ‘entry level'. He has achieved the Diploma in Financial Planning, held by only a small minority of financial advisers, and is currently working towards becoming a Chartered Financial Planner - the highest professional status in financial services.

His Diploma in Financial Planning includes advanced qualifications in Personal Investment Planning, Pensions and Retirement Planning, and Pension Simplification. This means that he is ideally suited to help his individual and corporate clients with their short and long-term retirement planning requirements. In addition, he can provide investment planning advice either by reviewing an established portfolio, or constructing a new one.

Graham regularly works with corporate clients, advising on their business protection needs in the form of key man assurance, shareholder protection or loan protection. He can also assist on an individual level, by advising on family protection, and inheritance tax planning.

He works with each of his clients to establish a long-term relationship in order to ensure that they remain on course to achieve their goals. He does this by not only delivering the initial advice required by his clients but also by building regular reviews into the relationship so that he can ensure that their investment and pension assets continue to work to their maximum potential.
