
Ian Cooke
Ian joined AEGON Asset Management in February 2009 as Head of US Equities. He is responsible for the overall management of the US equity team and its range of funds. Ian is the lead manager of the American Equity fund. Before joining AEGON, Ian was with Allied Irish Bank Investment Managers for 5 years as Head of US Equities. Prior to AIB, Ian was director US equities at Schroders Investment Management with responsibility for its North American Retail Trust, Institutional Offshore and Diversified Funds. Ian began his career at Legal & General in 1973 becoming a North America fund manager in 1982 and reaching the position of head of the North American desk before moving on in 2001.
