Jupiter Launch China Fund
October 27th, 2006
Following on from the recent swathe of new fund launches, on the 20th October 2006 fund manager Jupiter introduced their new China Fund.
The fund is managed by former Gartmore China Opportunities manager Philip Ehrmann, who has over 16 years management experience in this area.
The fund’s principal aim is to achieve capital growth by investing in Chinese companies.
The fund will look to take advantage of the broadening economic climate in China and the opportunities that will come from the growth in domestic demand in the region.
The short-term investment focus will be on companies listed on the Hong Kong, Singapore and Nasdaq exchanges rather than investment in companies listed on the domestic exchange.
By investing through Torquil Clark Investments, you will pay an initial charge of just 0.5% for ISA investments - a 4.75% discount off the fund manager’s charges. If you’re investing outside an ISA, the initial charge will be 1.5% with our discount.
