Fidelity Multi Asset Strategic Fund
January 24th, 2007
On 22nd January 2007, the UK’s largest mutual fund manager Fidelity launched its latest fund offering, the Multi Asset Strategic Fund.
Dubbed the ‘all-terrain’ fund, with a managed approach that aims to smooth out the effects that a change in the economic cycle can have on investments. By selecting holdings that should perform well in times of prosperity whilst offering more of a balance when equities are not going so well, the fund can adjust its asset allocation to suit the economic environment. Clearly there is still risk involved, but this fund could provide a useful solution for those investors uncertain about when and where to invest.
Fidelity has appointed Trevor Greetham as fund manager. He has 16 years experience in the investment industry. The overall investment aim of the fund is to achieve a blend of capital growth and income through investment opportunities from all over the World.
This fund is available in our Fund Supermarket, and by investing through Torquil Clark Investments, you will pay an initial charge of just 0.5% - a 3% discount from the fund manager’s charges.
