When this fund launched in July 2006, the intention was that investors would be able to have a combination of income and growth, gained by investing in 3 of the 4 main asset classes.
Consequently this will normally have around one-third invested in each of these three areas; equities (only in the UK), commercial property and fixed interest. The equity and fixed interest content is managed by some of their bestknown and high profile managers, Stephen Whittaker and James Gledhill. The commercial property content is gained via investing in their in-house Property fund managed by the experienced Roger Dossett.
The diversification of investments and the track record of the fund managers make this fund stand out from the crowd. The income of a little over 4% pa net is an attraction, as even if not required now, it could be reinvested.
