If you are looking for an income fund, then consider this new Multimanager fund.
Rob Burdett and Gary Potter joined Thames River in August 2007 after a number of successful years with Credit Suisse. This is one of a range of Multimanager funds and this
particular fund aims to deliver a high income, currently nearly 6% pa gross.
An important point to appreciate is that the yield is achieved from diversified income streams rather than relying upon just one source like equities which is likely to only account for around one third of the portfolio.
Fixed Interest is the other main weighting; they will hold funds, which can take advantage of market volatility. The managers see this as a key fund within their Multimanager range.
